As you can see in the website there is a lot of content added. There is not so much spectacular to recall besides the fact that I am experimenting with laminates made with epoxy resin.

Purpose for this is, improvement of parts of Vrouwe Anna, our 106 year old ship. See also www.vrouwe-anna.nl

This link is a blog website about my work and visits to “Vrouwe Anna”.
Vrouwe Anna is a 106 year old typical Dutch ship called a “skutsje” or “tjalk”.
Former owners had changed this ship radically from freight to a sailing yacht but the steel condition do not aloud us to use sails any more. The most original part left is the hull and swords on the sides of the hull. Still its lining is beautiful and preservation a demand for us while the historical value is low.

On this information page of Marmery it is the first post to explain what is the meaning of this website. For returning visitors, the old website is gone, and here you will find the information if you search for faux marble and art made with epoxy coatings.

At this moment I am busy to fill in all the content for this website so please be patient. It will take time to write the basic content into the site and therefore if you want directly more info about my work sent me a mail:  info@marmery.nl

At this moment as I am also working on my ship, filling out these pages is going slow. Last week I made two paintings.

Landscape paintings:
They are both an example of my love for nature.  It is a kind of impressionist style  A lot of experiments have to be done to control within a painting the flow, and thus the mixing of the colors. With the same technic but heavier of color : Sunrise over the water and flowers in a garden. (both on paper)

The panel below is a one layer picture and the second layer is a clear coat. A totally different kind of painting. Here I like to express the inner part of a plant. Living nature is for me the overview in a landscape but at the same time the detailed structures of plants.

Green Eye. (40×40 cm on MDF)

Below is an expression of air / land and sea.  (SOLD)

Below springtime. You can see the thickness of the paint on paper. Such creations are made on a strictly horizontal surface.
